Homecoming week is a great time for families and Alumni to come and enjoy great fellowship and football with friends and family. The entire week is full of fun events for everyone to enjoy. Students enjoy spirited dress up days and Upper School students participate in class float building and hallway decorating. We conclude the week with an all school on-campus parade and pep-rally to gear up for that night’s football game and the presentation of the Homecoming Court.
Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. Each year we develop an intentional emphasis on these topics for training and discussion. Our Lower, Middle and Upper Schools each create a plan to train on various age appropriate topics relating to the year’s theme. Some of the topics covered are: respecting yourself, others, authority, property and your future, and pursuing purity in our mind, heart, body, and life. What a great opportunity we have to train our students to think Biblically about the value of pursuing holiness in the many choices our students will face. More than “just saying no”, we pray they will “say yes” to a life set apart for God’s glory.
